Shadow     I jolted awake with a gasp. Light flooded into my bedroom through the sky light on the roof and by the looks of the sun it was noon. A pulsating head ache made me slow and unfocused. Damn that addicting Minecraft game, damn it to the Nether. I splash cold water on my face, hoping it'll wake me up, walk down to the kitchen, and peer into the refridgerator. There was nothing but an old piece of cake and an egg. I scamble the egg and slump into my old but amazingly comfortable  sofa and switch on the TV to any random channel. Why am I so out of it today? Shadow     The smell of smoke burned my nose, the taste of blood filled my mouth, and my whole body ached. It was dark, but  I knew it wasn't night yet. I was lying on my side and tried to move but my arms and legs where bound. What's going on!? Suddenly, light floods into my little room and I was roughtly picked up by the scruff of my neck. Then.... I woke up.

   Fear. That's what I felt while I ran through my burning home. Pillars of flames rose up from the ground and the smoke can down upon me, choking me, getting into my eyes to add more tears to the ones I've already been shedding. The screams of my burning mother echoed in my head, the blood of my kidnapped brother stained my hands. I was alone, and I don't know why....
